Why I built SplitPDF
I was frustrated with online PDF tools that require you to upload sensitive documents to unknown servers. SplitPDF was built to solve that: split your PDF pages in complete privacy, entirely inside your own browser, with no files ever leaving your device.
How it works
SplitPDF uses PDF.js to render page previews and pdf-lib to reassemble pages into new PDF files — all via WebAssembly and JavaScript running locally in your tab. Nothing is sent to a server.
